Happy Wednesday friends!
This week has flown by for me, but I suppose that happens when you have a 4-day work week and an ill cat.
I’m super excited to announce that I’ve been asked back as an ambassador for the 2016 Spruce Meadows Race Series! So, if you’ve been wondering, yes, they’re bringing back the races for another year. 🙂 There have been some changes this year (fewer races) but read on to learn more and then make sure you get registered 🙂
Spruce Meadows Race Series
In 2016 the Spruce Meadows Race Series will consist of three races and one fun run. Last year there were two fun runs and four races, so based upon feedback and attendance, they’ve adjusted the race schedule, which I really appreciate.
Package pickup for all races will also be split between three Running Room locations (Eau Claire, West Hills, and Shawnessey) with package pickup also available at Spruce Meadows on race day. While race day package pick up was also available last year, I really appreciate that I’ll be able to walk to the Running Room to pick up my bib over driving to Spruce Meadows to do so, as it is at the far south of the city.
The last (and best!) improvement, is that there are no more parking fees! I really appreciate the team at Spruce Meadows taking time to read through the feedback survey and make improvements based upon our feedback. This is one of the reasons I was so thrilled to be asked back to partner with and help promote these events.

I’ll be highlighting the individual charities and details related to each of the 4 events as we get closer to race day. For now, be sure to pencil in these dates on your calendars and be ready to meet me at Spruce Meadows!
I’m hoping to have a discount code available for individual registrations and will follow up if that’s made available to me!
Did you participate in the races last year? Will I see you at a race this year?
