I’m still not certain how I feel about it being April. I’m glad because spring but holy cow this year is already flying by!
Not enough water and too much coffee.
I was putting nuun in my water daily, but am cutting back on all forms of sodium as the recommendation of my doctor, and plain water just isn’t appealing right now. I know I need to suck it up (pun kind of intended) and drink it, but it’s just not as enjoyable. I’m also terrible at remembering to bring lemons to put in my water at work. I’m brainstorming, so if you have suggestions, let me know!

I crushed a bunch of episodes while cleaning out my closet – podcasts and audiobooks are great at distracting me while working on house stuff, and because it’s not visual like TV, I don’t find myself gravitating to just sitting on the floor and watching.
However, Charlie couldn’t quite figure out what was going on, and opted to hide in my second bedroom for the duration of my cleaning. I’m pretty sure she thought there was a strange and scary ghost in my house.
Now I’ve started Science Vs. and so far it’s really interesting.

Easter Long weekend, and tackling my kitchen.
My kitchen plans have changed about four times, after some hiccups, I’m going to be painting my cabinets white, and replacing all my handles. My condo it bright with lots of windows, but my kitchen has always felt dark and cramped, and I want to change that. Painting is going to be a ridiculous amount of work, but I’m hopeful it’ll turn out well.
Subsequent to that, I’m really excited about barre teacher training, and Ragnar in Toronto/Niagara (pst – today is the last day to register your team!). I finally booked my flights last week and I’ve never been to Niagara Falls, so the opportunity to check out the area makes me super happy.
I haven’t had a ton of time to cook in the evenings (I typically go from work to run club or barre, so I’m not actually home until 7:30 or 8 most nights) so I eat a lot of sweet potatoes and salads. Once I tackle my kitchen I’m hoping to cook (and share) one recipe a week from my rather large collection of cookbooks. I think it’ll be a great way to try something new, and hopefully come up with some good staples.
Now that Planet Earth II is over, I’ve been catching up on season 3 of Grace and Frankie, and am halfway through Big Little Lies on HBO.
Next I need to finally catch up on Game of Thrones before the new season is released in the summer.
