I thought I’d do my best to start Monday on a good note with some goals.
I’m not sure why, but I feel like the past 10 days have been an emotional struggle for me. Nothing has happened to me, and it’s very possible I’ve been letting world events get to me, so I gave myself permission to ignore social media a bit more as I was starting to feel overloaded with life.
Moving on……let’s take a peek at the upcoming month, shall we?

I want this category to be a balance between physical health, and mental health.
1 – Make sure I’m setting aside appropriate time for my mental health. I’ve noticed I’ve been feeling a bit sensitive to things I’m not normally sensitive to, which is an indicator I need to take a bit more time for self care. Whether that’s time with a book, or time with a friend, I want it to be a focus this month.
1 – Commit to going to barre three days a week. I definitely fell off a bit in January, and I know that barre is really important to my running (I’m pretty sure I’ve mentioned this approximately 35798435 times already).
2 – Run three days per week. It’s easy for me to run twice a week since I have zero excuses with the Lolë Run Club, but that third day might be a challenge for me. If the weather holds (please, oh please) I’d love to make this a lunch run since I’m feeling a little overwhelmed in the evenings with everything I have going on.
1 – I have two fairly personal and vulnerable posts floating around in my head. I’d like to set aside some time to really think them over and decide if it’s something that will have an overall new positive impact if I were to share. My new rule: whatever you’re doing, make sure it’s net positive.
2 – Shift my focus more to Accounting for Bloggers. From a business standpoint, Canadian accounting/tax advice is really under-served in the blog world, the problem I have is taking the time to formulate and write posts. Technical topics involve quite a bit of research and checking (I never want to provide incorrect advice!), so carving out time is hugely important.
1 – My dad will be here in just under two weeks, so I have a final push to make sure the spare room is organized for him! I’ll likely need to move some stuff into storage, but that’s okay since my storage unit is looking pretty awesome.
Bonus – steam clean. Maybe this weekend, since February is pretty busy, this may get pushed to March, but I’m determined to do it before spring. Hello – two cats?! Necessary!
1 – As mentioned above, make sure what I do has a net positive impact. I’ve been feeling really raw lately with everything happening in the world, and a lot of it feels net negative to me. I understand the importance of having discussions and conversations, but not when they ultimately bring others down. I want to be sure what I’m doing supports and raises people up. Net positive.New month; new goals. Here's what Ange has in store for February! #goalchatClick To Tweet
