Because the internet is awesome
This comes out on my birthday weekend, so I’ll be celebrating 32 (yikes!) being aca-awesome.
Last Friday Jen was on the news talking about orthorexia. On Monday she asked if anyone had ever been on TV, my initial response was “no” but that’s wrong! 10 years ago, I was in a commercial for a company I used to work for. So I dug it out of my archives for y’all to see.

Popular This Week / You May Have Missed
Posts from the past week and waaaaay back.
Random things I’m loving on the internet.
On Vaccinations and Living in Community <– definitely one of the best posts I’ve read on vaccinations. A hippie/scientist is my favourite.
Bacon and Sriracha Mac and Cheese <– looks like the mac and cheese challenge will now have 22 contenders instead of 21…
Why Do We Believe Celebrity Pseudoscience? <– This is my freaking pet peeve. I can rant for HOURS about the stupidity of pseudoscience, and just, gah!
Why I Had a Breast Augmentation <– as someone who has considered this, I really loved Jessica’s honesty about her decision.
20 Habits Healthy Couples Have (But Never Talk About) <– Relationships don’t create joy, they reflect it. Joy comes from within.
How (and Why) To Create and Anchor Habit <– oh, look, a post from Nicole. It’s not like I always link to her posts. Oh wait, I do 🙂
Bad Science: Is Running As Bad for Your Health as Being A Couch Potato <– aka. headlines are inflammatory bullshit
5 Things to Remember When Considering Vaccines <– can you sense I have strong feelings about this?
I Am Overweight <– Go Kaleo is new to me, but this post is amazing and so true. Read it.
Adrenal Fatigue as a Cover for Starvation <– again from Go Kaleo and I think there are some extremely good points in this, especially the “nutrient dense” and calorie comparison.
10 Reasons You Should Listen to Podcasts <– I was definitely late to the whole podcast thing, but I have to say, I love them. I’ll definitely be listening to Tina’s podcast in addition to a few of my favourites (what for a post about this coming up).
