Good Saturday morning, my friends!
Today I’m gearing up for a chilly 5-miler which I’ll recap for you on Monday. I’m also hoping my chiro can work some magic on my back and then I’ll be getting nice and cozy on the couch for a nap.
If you’re looking for a reason to relax this morning, take a look at what I loved this week.
How to Create Branded Images Using Stock Photos <– I recently signed up for HauteChocolate images (Rachel is also in Calgary, yaaaayyyyyy!) and pretty much sent Rachel the exact.same.email from this post.
What Happened When I Stopped Exercises for a Month <– I really appreciate Davida’s honesty and vulnerability in this post. While I’m pretty confident the food issues from my past have been (mostly) curbed, I can still get really upset with myself when it comes to exercise. Allowing myself to not be perfect in training has been really helpful in this regard.
Why I Won’t Apologize for my Highlight Reel <– This quote from Tawnya’s post says it all “My highlight reel is not what’s making you unhappy, it’s your perception of your own life.”
Observations of ‘The Bachelor’ finale from someone who has never seen ‘The Bachelor’ <– there are so many excellent lines in this article.

This ruling absolutely baffles me. I found some pretty good posts explaining the ruling and how ridiculous it is.
BS on the Olympic Games Sponsor Black Out <– Oiselle on the 2012 Olympic Sponsor blackout
I love love love how Sally doesn’t merely accept things how for they are, especially when how they are is complete and total BS. While I will be cheering for Canada 🇨🇦 (and I don’t think Canada has crap rules, but hey, they might and I might just not know about them) I’ll also be cheering as loud as flipping possible for every other athlete and team being screwed by Rule 40.
Huge Instagram Changes + 10 Mistakes You’re Making <– why do companies pretend to know what I like. How about y’all leave it alone and let me see what I want to see?!
13 Charts Anyone Who Has Procrastinated Will Understand <– these charts pretty much describe my life.
Drew Brees Has a Dream He’d Like to Sell You <– extremely fascinating look at the AdvoCare MLM. I highly recommend spending the 20 minutes to read the piece.
Oprah and Unexpected Healthy Living Tips <– I have opinions on Weight Watchers, and I thought the embedded FB post in this post (posts in posts in posts!) was extremely well written.
