Hi friends, happy
I opted to give myself a bit of a blogging break this past week. Although Merlin was home with me (yay!) I was still feeling the effects of the stress from the previous week and knew I’d be better off taking some time instead of attempting to write some sub-par posts.
I rested for the last half of the week, and spent some time coming up with some great post ideas, so be sure to look for those in the coming weeks.
As a way to ease myself back in, here are some links from around the web I’ve loved (or maybe hated, but felt the need to share).

The Problem Is Not Women Running Alone <– I know how to be safe and aware of my surroundings. It is conditioned into me. The problem is predatory males and victim blaming.
Your Cheat Sheet To Olympics Track And Field Schedule <– a few days late, but there is still a lot to come! There’s also this IAAF timetable in your local time!
This Daily Beast Grindr Stunt Is Sleazy, Dangerous, and Wildly Unethical <– but seriously, what is wrong with people?!
Matthew McConaughey Is Having The Time Of His Life Alone At The Olympics <– This is awesome.
Not Everyone is Going to Like You <– this has taken me a long time to learn, and even longer to be okay with it.
12 Best WordPress Plugins <– I use a number of plugins on this list!
100+ Free WordPress Plugins <– a super handy printable list!
Feminism in Sport <– very well said.
Out of the Blue <– battling depression in sport.
The 4 Differences Between Introversion and Social Anxiety <– a good read
Here’s How To Eat Healthy For A Week With Just $50 <– something I want to follow one week.
19 Things Only Lazy Makeup Addicts Will Understand <– story of my life
Thanks for sticking with me for the past few weeks, friends. I’m planning to be back with regular posts this week.
