Okey dokey, away we go!
Happy Saturday, my friends. I spent this morning relaxing, then I went to a wedding ceremony, came home and cleaned and now I’m about to go celebrate with the bride and groom!
I’m planning on calling it an early evening (I jinx myself every time I say that, so let’s hope this isn’t true this time) since I have a 10km race tomorrow morning. #poorplanning
Oh, boy, it’s been way too long since I’ve done this!

Training Tuesday <– my little sister is running the 10k in Kelowna when I’m running the half marathon. It’s her first ever race and I’m texting her almost daily to hear updates about her runs and training. I’m crazy excited for her!!
Scenes from Southern Alberta <– no content, just pictures. Worth a look.
I’m still playing a bit of catch up from my lax summer, so hopefully you’ll find something new, or something you may have overlooked in the past few weeks.

Introducing Blogtober 14 via The Daily Tay <– it’s no secret that I pretty much suck at monthly challenges but I might be able to do this since the prompts are already posted.
Protein Intake and Timing for Reducing Body Fat via Run To The Finish <– I found this post super interesting. I know I feel better if I eat a sufficient amount of protein throughout the day.
Shitology Shakes Can Change Your Life! via It’s a Dog Lick Baby World <– I laughed my way through this post…and I also nodded my head. Overall, I’ve never been a fan of multi level marketing and I also don’t believe a certain shake or workout can change your life. I’m pretty open about my love for all things Vega, but I don’t think they’re the holy grail of all things, either.
AMRAP Bars…..The New Quest? via Pretty Little Grub <– I looooove that Jen compared the ingredients of the two bars in her review. AMRAP wins, hands down! Now, click on the link and enter her giveaway 🙂
An Open Letter To The Flock via Oiselle <– I know there’s been some criticism about The Flock, but I have to say, I’m really happy to be a part of it. Through them, I was able to meet some new friends at SeaWheeze and I’m sure I’ll be able to meet more Birdies and make even more friends. I’m a huge fan of community and I’m so excited to see how this will grow.
Sponsorships: The Customer is Always Right? via The Life of Bon <– I’ve yet to dive into the world of blog sponsorships (ads, etc) but I really appreciated this honest take on things from Bonnie.
What To Do When You Get Off Track via A Life Less Bullshit <– Did I post this last week? I’m too lazy to check. If I did and you didn’t read it, now is your chance!
