Happy Monday, friends! <– I know I probably say that most every Monday, and no, I don’t see that changing 🙂
Can you believe there are only 11 days left in October?! I think October may have flown by faster than September, how is that even possible?!
This weekend I finished my third of four half marathons for the month 😀
Monday – driving home
Tuesday – rest day
Wednesday – rain 🙁
Thursday – packed wrong run gear 🙁
Friday – off
Saturday – Robert Hamilton 5 Miler
Sunday – Mec Race 7 Half Marathon
Total mileage: 18.1 miles / 29km
Mileage-wise it could maybe have been higher, but after racing the previous weekend, I really wanted to make sure my body was able to recover. Add in weather issues (I picked up a rain jacket this weekend!) and brain issues (it is not warm enough to run in a tank top right now!) it just wasn’t in the cards.
I’m hoping to fit in runs on Tuesday and Thursday both at lunch and after work to get my leggies prepared for back-to-back runs during Ragnar.
This weekend I’ll be flying to Vancouver for the Rock ‘n Roll Half and the trip will also include a trip to Trader Joe’s to pick up some fun goodies for myself!
