One more trip. Just one more and then I can return to my hermit ways and not leave my house for at least two months.
Okay, that’s not exactly true, as I’m pretty certain I’ll be making a trip to my mom’s at some point around Christmas, but aside from that? Nothing.
It’s been super fun travelling for races and to visit friends but it all happened at once and now I’m ready to stay home and snuggle with Merlin.
Monday – Rest
Tuesday – 5.85km + 9.00km
Wednesday – Rest
Thursday – Off
Friday – 4.5km
Saturday – off to Vanvouver!
Sunday – RnR Vancouver Half Marathon
Total mileage: 40.5km / 25 miles
(PS – you can follow me on Strava if you’re into that sort of thing)
I’m feeling really good about my mileage this week.
I was super motivated on Tuesday and both my runs felt amazing. I was originally going to run on Thursday, but for a number of reasons it just didn’t happy (partly because I decided wine + TV was a good idea) so I told myself I had to run on Friday and that it would also be good practice with the race on Sunday.
My Friday run sucked. There’s not much else to say about that. It sucked, but I did it 🙂
I paced Lexie to a six minute PR on Sunday for the Rock ‘n Roll half. I enjoyed myself, but could really feel the toll of running four half marathons in four weeks and I’m really looking forward to sleeping in this weekend.
