Hello and happy Monday my friends!
I hope everyone had an awesome weekend.
Since I missed out on Motivate Me Monday last week (I had something important to talk about) you’re getting a recap of my past two weeks of exercise…..assuming I can remember them 😉
Sunday – Off – I was going to go to spin, but decided to rest after my 15km race
Monday – 3 miles after work. It was a struggle
Tuesday – Off
Wednesday – 2 miles at lunch, another struggle
Thursday – Off
Friday – Off (working)
Saturday –Off (working)
Sunday – 14 miles with Jen!
Monday – Off (working)
Tuesday – Off (HOCKEY)
Wednesday – Off (tired and maybe a teeny tiny bit hungover, I was asleep by 9:30)
Thursday – 8 miles
Friday – Off, hooray for massages!
Saturday –My cold won 🙁
Sunday – Barre class! Jen mentioned she went and I know it’s super great for my weak butt and hips, so I put on my big girl pants and went to a class at 8:30 on Sunday all by myself. Go me!
Eh. It’s been an okay two weeks. I plan to make up my missed 16 miler tomorrow with 4 at lunch and 12 after work.
I just realized that I only have three more long runs and then a marathon.
The good news is that I’m finally feeling both mentally and physically healthy. It’s been a while since I’ve felt that way, so I’m confident I’ll be able to get in my runs and cross training from now until race day.
I’m also really glad that our race strategy is to have fun and finish and then EAT ALL THE FOOD at the end. We have brunch reservations at Hell’s Kitchen in MN and you’d better believe that brunch menu (and an amazing bloody mary) will power me through.
