Only three more sleeps until Christmas! And two sleeps for me since we’re doing dinner on Christmas Eve with my mom since she has to work on Christmas.
I’m linking up again with Fitness Cheerleader and Running Rachel for Motivate Me Monday. This past week was definitely way better fitness wise than probably the previous month, so I’m definitely counting that as a win!
Here’s what I had planned for last week and how it went…
Monday – Off/FitChicks video <– Off. I woke up with a headache (which I later determined was caused by enjoyed some dried fruit) so I stayed home and napped the day away)
Tuesday – Run with Jen <– I ran. Yippee!!!!
Wednesday – Off/FitChicks video <– Off. Mainly because I know I packed the video somewhere when I moved and, uh, I’m not sure where somewhere is right now.
Thursday – Personal training session (I have no idea what this will entail) <– Home. The opening of my gym was delayed, so no training session for me, which is fine since I started to feel like I was coming down with something 🙁
Friday – Yin yoga <– still feeling sick, so nothing.
Saturday – BODYPUMP with Jo (hooray for GoodLife Fitness!) <– I’m a terrible person and cancelled because I didn’t want to make myself sicker.
Sunday – Spin or run, it depends on how I feel after BODYPUMP <– For the first time in forever I decided to run. I cancelled spin because I wasn’t sure how I’d be feeling, but I felt well enough to run 5k. Yippee!
I was all pumped to fill you guys in on my personal training session, but it didn’t happen, so you’ll just have to wait until next week for the recap. Next week will also include a peek at my race schedule for 2015 as I think I’ve finalized quite a bit of it. Yippee!
And, finally, let’s take a peek at what this next week will look like
Monday – Runch!
Tuesday – Personal training session
Wednesday – Christmas at mom’s (possible run?)
Thursday – Drive home (possible FitChicks video)
Friday – Personal training session
Saturday – BODYPUMP
Sunday – Spin
Now that I’m feeling better, I’m hoping I can use my time off to my advantage and get to the gym as much as possible.
I also received a test model of the new Polar M400 and I’m pumped to wear the heart rate monitor for exercise classes and runs to see how I’m doing.
