So, yeah…..ummm, May first is next week. Craziness.
There’s something about this year that just keeps speeding up.

I want this category to be a balance between physical health, and mental health.
|Keep drinking more water. This sounds easier than it is, but I'm working on it.||This month was a definitely improvement over March. It turns out that by forcing myself to drink water, I'll actually drink it 🙂|
|Remind myself that outer order brings inner calm. I can get overwhelmed when it comes to cleaning, but I know that keeping things clean and organized does wonders for my mental health. Again, easier said than done, but something to keep in mind throughout the month.||I made some pretty big strides in this department this month. This week I spent all Monday evening tidying and I notice I feel much calmer when I wake up in the mornings.|
|Actually add in that third day of running I've been talking about 😉 I have 2 races this month, two race in May, and two in June, so it's time to start upping the mileage.||That would be a nope to the third day of running 😂|
It just doesn't want to fit in my schedule right now, and that's okay.
|Attend barre instructor training. I'm signed up and I'll be recapping my experience later in the month. I'm quite looking forward to it.||DONE! And what a weekend it was! I'm really excited to move on to the next steps next month.|
|Brainstorm three articles for Food Bloggers of Canada. My column has been extended throughout 2017 and I'm really excited to continue to give tax and accounting tips to bloggers (but if you aren't a blogger, but are Canadian, you'll still probably benefit!)||I submitted my May article and have a topic for June that I'm about to start researching, so not quite three, but better than zero!|
As always, if you have a question on a tax or accounting topic, please reach out to me.
|Brainstorm topics for this site. You may have noticed I've been posting less, and that's because I've been concentrating on only posting when I truly want to and have something worth saying, so it's been a bit less. I'm sure barre training will help me share lots with you.||Barre topics are going to explode on here pretty soon and I'm excited! I also have some upcoming races, so that'll be great for blog content 🙂|
|Complete 2 home projects this month. Over the weekend I gutted my closet, and now I'm turning my sights to my kitchen/living room and have some pretty big goals for those. Stay tuned to Instastories as I'm sure I'll be sharing (or cursing) over there.||I made a last minute decision not to paint my cabinets. Something just felt.....off. But I did build a massive IKEA cupboard and I LOVE it!|
|Create a plan for May. Starting mid-month I have a new teaching contract, and I'm also going to Toronto for Ragnar, and running the Calgary Half Marathon upon my return. Since I have lots on my plate, planning ahead in April will be key.||I'm.....working on this. I'm currently focused on preparing for the next stages of barre training, and then it's time for teaching, and Ragnar. May and June are going to be busy, indeed.|
Did you achieve your goals for April?
