I don’t think Training Tuesday is actually going to become a thing on the blog (I’m hoping to start linking up with Christina for Marathon Monday) but I just really like alliteration 🙂 so Training Tuesday made the most sense!
With, uhhh, not very many weeks until Ragnar Las Vegas, I’ve decided it’s time to actually start with some kind of a training schedule.
It’s not secret I haven’t run much over the summer. After training for the 50k I really needed a break, both physically and mentally and then my body started acting all weird and shit, so I really struggled with running. According to my blood test I’m fine, but may have a minor vitamin B deficiency (but not enough to make me feel as tired as I’ve been) so back I go today for some thyroid testing.
To give y’all an idea of just how tired I’ve been feeling….I slept 9 hours Friday night, 10 hours each Saturday and Sunday night and 8 hours last night and I’m freaking exhausted today. That just doesn’t seem right to me.

Obviously I’ll make changes as needed depending on how I’m feeling, but it feels really nice to finally have a plan in place.
