Good morning and happy Wednesday!
I’m so glad this week is a short week for me 🙂
Actually, I don’t have to work a 5-day work week until the week of June 22 and then again until July 20! Short weeks in the summer months are my favourite!
Since I missed recapping my workouts on Monday, I thought I’d link up Annmarie from The Fit Foodie Mama, Angelena from Angelena Marie: Happy, Healthy & Balanced, Sarah from Creating Better Tomorrow, and Amber from Bold Fit Mom for Wild Workout Wednesday.
I’ll warn you, it’s not pretty.
Sunday – 16 miles and now it’s taper time!
Monday – Off
Tuesday – Barre
Wednesday – 1 failed mile
Thursday – Off
Friday – Off
Saturday –Off. I was supposed to run a half marathon but opted to not run for 2 hours in the pouring rain, so I bought patio furniture instead.
Sunday – Spin
Yeah, so that week kind of sucked, didn’t it?!
I’ve struggled throughout this whole training cycle. Partly with motivation, partly with health and then when the wheels fell off, it was really difficult to put them back on again.
I’m excited to run this marathon (I know I’ll finish, it just might not be a pretty finish), rest up for a few weeks and then tackle my training with Mollie throughout the fall.
I’m doing my best to not worry (too much) about this race. I know with 11 days until race day there isn’t a whole heck of a lot I can do between now and then except for staying healthy and keeping my legs moving, so that’s what I’ll do.
