Happy Monday, friends! And happy February! It feels like January absolutely flew by!
I hope everyone had a lovely weekend.
I accomplished everything I set out to: I slept in, and did basically nothing. It was exactly what I needed.
I had planned on getting some training plans uploaded over the weekend, but anytime I grabbed my laptop, Merlin decided he needed to nap on me, so I didn’t quite get as much done as I had hoped. However, I was able to get two plans out the door to some of my new clients, so that was super exciting for me!
I also finally figured out a good weekly workout plan that I’m confident I can stick to. Now, I didn’t quite hit it this week, but I already knew I wanted to do nothing this weekend 🙂
Going forward this is what I want my weeks to look like:
Monday – BodyPump
Tuesday – spin
Wednesday – barre
Thursday – BodyPump
Friday – off
Saturday – BodyPump
Sunday – Run or swim
Thankfully I can tackle everything, with the exception of barre, at GoodLife Fitness and I can do it on my way home from work. Making getting to the gym convenient for me is key, so the 5:30 class on my way home is perfect!
With that, let’s take a peek at what this week looked like:
Monday – Pump with Brie followed by The Bachelor
Tuesday – off
Wednesday – off
Thursday – Pump. I opted to up my weights and I was feeling it the next day. This new release is nuts!
Friday – off
Saturday – sleep
Sunday – sleep
Yup, it was a bit of a lazy week, but I know I mentally needed a weekend to chill at home. I ran a bunch of errands on Saturday, and Sunday I slept in, napped, and went to bed early. It was absolutely needed.
Do you ever feel like you need a weekend to stay home and chill?
